The particular style of Portuguese used in these lessons is that which is used in Brazil. The reasons for this are manyfold. For one, Brazil is larger than all the other Portuguese speaking countries combined. This is true not only in area, but in weight as well. Ronaldo, in particular, is heavier than the combined populations of both Cape Verde and East Timor. This is largely due to the fact that Ronaldo has consumed the populations of both Cape Verde and East Timor shortly befor the 2006 World Cup. I will not list any more reasons for Brazil’s superiority as they should be obvious.
